The simplest set up for a gait lab consists of a single CODA sensor unit, ODIN Software and force plate, combined with a set of 28 markers and marker wands used on the subject:
This is the ideal system if you have a narrow space that makes it impractical to set sensor units on both sides of your walkway. A single CODA sensor unit placed 3m from the subject will still measure over 5m of walkway, enough to adequately capture most gait cycles, so a CODA system can be set up in a laboratory space which is under 4 metres wide.
Combine this hardware with the ODIN Software Suite
with customised protocols for acquiring, analysing and reporting on the gait cycle.
