The modelling stage in the ODIN software suite gives the user complete freedom to map sensor data to the underlying model of interest (e.g. to relate visible marker data to the movement of underlying bone structures). Models can be stored, reused and exchanged between users. Calculation scripts can be run in real time on the live data stream and even used to trigger inputs/outputs from other devices.
The analysis stage allows the user to pre-define calculations and analysis protocols that will be applied to the model data for each trial (e.g. calculation of speeds, the tracking of joint angles, Euler angles etc.) Users can define more than one analysis protocol for the same data without confusion, and allow colleagues to work separately on the same data sets without compromising the raw information.
ODIN also provides an easy set up for graphs and figures and an interface for users to choose pre-defined report formats or to customise their own.
